Blessed be God!

It is with great joy and enthusiasm that I address you and welcome you to the OLMC School Family.

It is a great honor to serve God and families as the Principal of this school for the 2023-2024 school year. Sharing the charism of the Sister Servants of the Blessed Sacrament through the gift of education has been a unique experience and a true blessing for me. Together, Faculty, Staff, and Sisters in the community, we strive to provide all students with an exceptional education firmly grounded in the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, the love for the Blessed Virgin Mary, and the gospel values.

I strongly believe that what makes Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School distinctive is precisely the two pillars on which it stands, the quality of education and spiritual nourishment. Each student is recognized as a valuable child of God, with unique talents and gifts, and it is our joy to be able to help them know that they are beloved children of the Father, to discover all the potential that exists in them, and to become the best version of themselves.

OLMC School encourages students to study, reach their academic goals, and dream big, but also to use all their knowledge and many talents to serve their families and their community. In the Scriptures we find the following, "and Jesus advanced [in] wisdom and age and favor before God and man" (Luke 2:52)Just as the Child Jesus grew intellectually and spiritually, we are committed to providing students with a safe and loving environment conductive to their academic and spiritual growth.

"The family remains the basic unit of society and the first school in which children learn the human, spiritual, and moral values which enable them to be a beacon of goodness, integrity, and justice in our communities" (Pope Francis).

The school is a vital source of knowledge but it is in the family where children receive wisdom. The education of your children is a collaborative effect. OLMC School is committed to providing high-quality education and we trust that you will provide the support your child needs to succeed. In the words of St. Teresa of Calcutta, "I can do things you cannot, you can do things I cannot; together we can do great things." With God's help we, Faculty, Staff, and Parents, will work together to make this school year memorable for all students.

May Our Lady of Mt. Carmel protect you and your beautiful families.

Sincerely in Christ,

Sr. Eva Lujano, S.J.S.
